N-Z Colostrum is unique source of immunoglobulins. The immunoglobulins in N-Z Colostrum are specialized bioactive proteins or molecules found in serum and other tissue fluids, including the first milk of mammals (colostrum). There are five classes of immunoglobulins that are recognized in mammals Immunoglobulins G (IgG), Immunoglobulins A (IgA), Immunoglobulins M (IgM), Immunoglobulins E (IgE), and Immunoglobulins D (IgD).

The function of these molecules is to bind to invading organisms and to activate specific actions that help to prevent infection and to rid the body of disease causing pathogens.
