Usually these symptoms are caused by a systemic yeast infection. Dog's don't sweat like we do. They excrete toxins through their feet, groin, tail-head, and other areas where lymph nodes are located. During periods of PH imbalance and yeast invasion more toxins are excreted from these areas causing the itchiness. The dog will then lick or itch these "hot spots".
