The action as a detoxifier and blood purifier has been found to be beneficial for a variety of illnesses, including liver disorders, breath odor, infections, disorders of the bones and joints and skin ailments. Alfalfa contains a high calcium and magnesium content.

Amino Plus

A combination of essential amino acids needed but not manufactured in sufficient quantities by the canine. Most proteins contain 19 or more amino acids, during digestion the protein in the feed is broken down into its constituent amino acids, which are absorbed and ultimately utilised by the canine for building body protein. There are believed to be seventeen amino acids, which the dog cannot synthesise adequately and therefore dog must be supplied with in the diet. These essential amino acids are Lysine, Methionine, Threonine, L-Taurine ,Myristic ,Palmitic, Stearic, Oleic, Linoleic, Linolenic, Lycopene, Isoleucine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Leucine, and Valine.

This means that a cobalt deficiency is really a vitamin B12 deficiency. Microorganisms in the digestive tract are able to synthesize vitamin B12 needs if the diet is adequate in cobalt. Normally, cobalt is not stored in the body in significant quantities. The small amount that is stored does not easily pass back into the intestinal tract where it can be used for vitamin B12 syntheses. Therefore, canine must consume cobalt frequently in the diet for adequate B12 synthesis. Injected cobalt is ineffective.
